Privacy Policy

01 · Who We Are

DebtPeek (the "Service") is an institutional analytical utility. We are the data controller for any personal data processed through this site. For privacy enquiries contact privacy@debtpeek.app.

02 · Data We Process

DebtPeek runs all calculator math client-side. Loan amounts, NOI, and any underwriting inputs you type are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored.

We process the following limited categories of data:

  • Server logs — IP address, user agent, and timestamp, retained for up to 14 days for security and abuse prevention (legal basis: legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Benchmark requests — when the ticker fetches FRED rates, the request originates from our edge servers, not from your browser. No personal data is sent to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
  • Optional analytics & advertising cookies — only set after you give consent via the cookie banner (legal basis: consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)).

03 · Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. your cookie preference itself) are always set. All analytics, measurement, and advertising cookies are disabled by default and will only load after you select Accept in the consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

04 · International Transfers

The Service is delivered from a global edge network. Where data leaves the EEA / UK, transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

05 · Your Rights

Under GDPR / UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (e.g. Datatilsynet in Norway / Denmark, Tietosuojavaltuutettu in Finland, BfDI in Germany, CNIL in France, ICO in the UK).

06 · Changes

We will post material changes to this policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Effective: 2026
